I just want a simple skin to display the current temp and the upcoming highs and lows (rain forecasts and tornado alerts are big pluses too). This will be displayed in a corner of a standard television so text has to be big to be readable. I thought it would be easy enough to crop out all the other goodies for my purpose, but I'm not sure how to get started. I tried copying the "splendid" directory and making changes, but nothing is different when I restart the app. It would sure be great if there was a guide for dummies like me. I've have gotten my feet wet with css and javascript, maybe I just need a push in the right direction. Thanks!
Mike, Is it practical for you to create a routine that would automatically convert WW skins to install/run on WWL? The WW Vista skin is particularly nice IMO :thumbright: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1979
siliconman01, that would be tough since all of the skins are very different. I'll build a very simple skin example so others can use it as a template to get started.
