Whenever I try to send message using netsent I get missing netapi32.dll error. Is win98 unable to use netsend or I have to get this file from somewhere first. Kindly help. Thanks
You can try Messages Sender (http://www.themobiweb.com/en/MessagesSender.html), it's a very advanced tool on windows that let you send messages by net send in parallel from an ip range or from files, it allows also to save valid IPs etc.

I know this is an old topic, but in Windows 98, isn't NetSend called WinPopup? If so, this is an option in Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > System Tools > WinPopup. -- PatrickB

There is no NET SEND command seen at the DOS prompt when NET is entered but it may only show after one uses NET INIT and NET LOGON because I'm almost positive I've seen it. EdP
