How can I stop the sound when the weather is updated? I have searched all the options, but can't seem to find it.
TIA

Try the following:

1) Open the Weather Watcher Options window and go to the "Sounds" tab.

2) Select "Weather Retrieved" from the Events dropdown box.

3) Select "(None)" from the Sounds dropdown box.

4) Click the OK button to save your changes and close the Weather Watcher Options window.

Actually, That setting was set to NONE, but I still get a sound each time the weather is updated. I tried setting it to a sound and then changing it to NONE, but that did not fix it.

What do the contents of the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Weather Watcher\Sounds Registry key show?

I un-installed Weather Watcher and re-installed it - the problem went away.

Thanks for trying to help
