Mike,

This happened to me just a bit ago when replying to the EdP skins topic:

Code:
Could not connect to smtp host : 10035 : A non-blocking socket operation could not be completed immediately.

DEBUG MODE

Line : 112
File : smtp.php

Strangely, though, when I went back and re-submitted, it worked, and there were duplicate posts (so I deleted the last one).

The same thing happened to me earlier today.

You must be seeing those messages because you are signed up to be notified when a new message is posted to the thread. For some reason, the SMTP server I am using has been up and down over the past couple of days.

But I'm not, for any thread.

And neither am I. In fact, since I am *not* signed up I decided to report the error - because I should never be seeing SMTP info in the first place.

Thanks for the screen cap Ed, in hind sight that would have been better, but I decided to report the error after I had already deleted the duplicate post....

Perhaps someone else is signed up to receive a notification then. I didn't dig into the forum code, but that is the only place e-mail is used when making posts.
