When I create a Magnet pointing to an animated GIF (e.g. http://sirocco.accuweather.com/sat_mosa ... isaeec.gif ), it doesn't animate. Only the first frame of the GIF is shown.

I wasn't sure if this was by design or a bug.

The desktop magnet feature cannot animate GIF images. That's a good suggestion for a future update though.

Don't take this in a bad way, but I'm surprised by this. Until Magnets support animated GIFs, WWL 7 will have actually removed a feature that WWL 6 had. (I wanted to write that in a way that didn't sound jerkish, honestly I did!)

May I please also suggest making it possible to stretch Magnet images above 100%?

Removing... as in removing the wallpaper feature? It'll be coming back before the first official version 7 build is released.

By "removed feature" I actually meant support for animated GIFs but... Thanks for the info.
