Follow the steps below to create a new StickIt note:

1. Right-click the StickIt system tray icon and choose Create Note... from the menu. This action will open the Stickit Note Editor window.

2. Set the note font, font size, background color, text color, bold, and italic properties (listed in that order) at the top of the StickIt Note Editor window.

3. Enter the note text in the large textbox at the bottom of the StickIt Note Editor window.

4. Click the Create button to create the new note and stick it to your desktop.
