For some reason no matter how many times I try to set the sound event to YOUR EARNINGS CHANGES ( apply and OK it) , it always sets itself automatically back to PAGE IMPRESSION CHANGES.
Is anyone else seeing this problem?
I don't think it was doing this until just recently, though I don't know why it is now doing it.

carlhudson, try the following steps:
1) Open the SysSense Options window and click the Sounds tab.
2) Select Your Earnings Changes from the Events dropdown box.
3) Click the Browse... button and select your sound, or select it from the Sounds dropdown box.
4) Click the OK button to save your changes and close the SysSense Options window.
5) Open the SysSense Options window and verify that your sound has been saved.
I was able to successfully set that sound by following the above steps using SysSense 1.3.3.

Mike, thanks for the reply.
It doesn't work for some reason.
At step five it just shows Page Impression Changes
Is there somewhere in the registry that I can look or hardwire it in?

The sound option are stored in the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\SysSense\Sounds
You could try deleting that key and then set up your sound options again.

OK, I tried deleting that key but it just displayed the same problem and has put the folling back into the registry at SOUNDS ..
(Default) REG_SZ (value not set) ClicksChanged REG_SZ (none) CPMChanged REG_SZ (none) Downloaded REG_SZ (none) EarningChanged REG_SZ C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\New SOUNDS\coin.wav ImpressionsChanged REG_SZ C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\New SOUNDS\coin.wav RateChanged REG_SZ (none)
No matter how many times I delete the key, the above gets put back in.
Also tried just changing the ImpressionsChanged SubKey to none but that didnt make any difference.
Thanks for your help.

Yeah, I did try re-installing it, but it didnt make any difference.
I didn't try uninstalling first thought, so that may be worth a try.
Other than that I might look into spyware/bugs on this machine to see if something is messing with my registry/machine as this incident seems to be localised to just me

Same problem here. May be it has to do with rights restrictions from Vista? I am logged in as admin but nevertheless this system is much more careful in changing registry entries and so on.
Best regards
Marc
P.S.: Very nice tool!

Oh wait, may be I was wrong. Indeed the default entry is always "page impressions" but I think that has nothing to do with the actual setting. May be it is just the default entry in the menu if the user wants to chose and change an event.
But another thing: The first time when SysSense runs and the wav sample was played I could see the earnings from this day in a systray bubble. But then never again. I only hear the wav file I definded. Did I do something wrong? The bubble is fine.
Best regards
Marc

Excellent tool, Mike!!!
I seem to have the same problems - the sound seems to be changing/resetting itself ...

I realize this is an old thread, but I am having this same problem with 1.3.7. I have a sound file that I set to ring when revenue changes, but no matter what, the sound plays when impressions change. If I I set it, apply it, minimize it, when I go back in, it's set back to when impressions change. Running Vista Home Premium. I was originally running 1.3.5 when I noticed this, and reinstalled with 1.3.7 (as admin) and still having the same issue.
