    Mike,

I just installed the new version and it is really messed up on my system. I even uninstalled the old version and installed fresh, and I get the same thing. I am on Windows XP Pro 32-bit, if that helps at all.

Did you make any IE related changes recently? Maybe disable JavaScript, etc.? Did you try installing an older version of Weather Watcher Live to see if the display is the same?

Nope, no changes at all. The other one was running fine before I installed the new version. Like a dummy, I deleted the old version when Installed the new one. I have never had anything like this happen before.

Ok, I installed it over the other one and I am getting the same thing. What do I need to do to try and fix it on my end? I did upgrade to the latest java version from oracles site the other day but nothing else seems wrong, or at least I haven't ruin into anything yet. Until now, that is. ;) Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated, Mike.

Not yet. What you sent is what I needed though. I'll take a look and get back to you today.

What happens when you open the following file in Internet Explorer?

    WeatherWatcherLive.zip\Skins\Interface\Splendid2\Cache\na\Skin.html

You'll probably see an ActiveX warning at the top of IE. After clicking that and selecting to allow blocked content, the result should look like this:

This is what I see after clicking on the ActiveX warning:

    Please try the following:

    1) Right-click the following file and choose "Save Target As..." to download the "JavaScriptTest.html" file.

    http://www.SingersCreations.com/Files/JavaScriptTest.html

    2) Right-click the downloaded "JavaScriptTest.html" file and choose "Open With" --> "Internet Explorer" (or double-click it if IE is your default browser).

    3) Document everything that happens after you double-click the "JavaScriptTest.html" file and post it here.

    This is what I see:

    1) I double-click the "JavaScriptTest.html" file on my desktop.

    2) Internet Explorer opens.

    3) At the top of Internet Explorer, I see a yellow "To help protect your security..." message.

    4) I right-clicked the message and chose "Allow Blocked Content...".

    5) A "Allowing active content such as script..." prompt appeared and I clicked the "Yes" button.

    6) A "Test!" message box appeared.

I clicked on it and all I saw was a little window message box in the middle of the screen with the word test in it. No warnings or anything from IE.

Just to verify... did you click the link above or download the file to your computer and open it locally?

Nope. Your cached data loads fine on my computer, so it seems your problem is being caused by your IE settings. Please export the following registry key and email it to me:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

This morning I find that I am experiencing the same issue on Windows 7 x64 Professional with both WWL V7.0.41 and WWL V7.0.44. This is the first time I have seen this occur on my system. I have not intentionally made any IE changes. I did update my nVidia drivers on my nVidia 8800 GTX card within the past 8 hours.

Mike, would the new year have anything to do with what is happening? I know it has affected a few other programs for whatever reason.

siliconman01, I also updated my drivers, but I did that over 2 months ago and WWL was working fine until the new version.

Also, I am running the latest IE9 Beta (all updates installed). But I have been running IE9 for a couple of months now. And V7.0.44 had been running just fine since installed when it first became available.
